Please Note! Run dnetc with script ${prefix}/share/dnetc/dnetc.init start. This script places the dnetc.ini and buffer files in ${prefix}/var/db/dnetc. The first time the script runs you will be asked to set configuration parameters. To change parameters later on, use ${prefix}/share/dnetc/dnetc.init config. dnetc is also started at system boot via the same startup script. A startup item has been generated that will aid in starting dnetc with launchd. It is disabled by default. Execute the following command to start it, and to cause it to launch at startup:
