The SDL_gfx library evolved out of the SDL_gfxPrimitives code which provided basic drawing routines such as lines, circles or polygons and SDL_rotozoom which implemented a interpolating rotozoomer for SDL surfaces. The current components of the SDL_gfx library are: Graphic Primitives, Rotozoomer, Framerate control, MMX image filters. It is backwards compatible to the above mentioned code. It is written in plain C and can be used in C++ code.

To install libsdl_gfx, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install libsdl_gfx
To see what files were installed by libsdl_gfx, run:
port contents libsdl_gfx
To later upgrade libsdl_gfx, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade libsdl_gfx
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
